Scarlet Moon Halloween Volume V Features Games With a Splash of Pop
SAN DIEGO - October 1, 2026 - Scarlet Moon is pleased to present Scarlet Moon Halloween Volume V, a festive celebration of Halloween month. Volume V features fan-favorite arrangers FamilyJules and bLiNd tackling Banjo-Kazooie’s "Mad Monster Mansion" and Castlevania’s "Vampire Killer" (celebrating its 40th anniversary), GLADIOLUS reimagining Persona 5’s "Tokyo Daylight," and Steven Silo covering Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. Scarlet Moon’s own Nami Nakagawa (Demon Slayer, NieR) contributes an original work, "ichi rin ka," alongside originals from Alex Doty and returning special guest George "The Fat Man" Sanger (The 7th Guest). Rounding out the collection, for the first time in the series’ history, is a genuine pop crossover: a jazz rendition of Michael Jackson’s "Thriller" from GENTLE LOVE. Scarlet Moon Halloween Volume V is available on all digital storefronts and streaming platforms today:
"Five years in, we wanted to try something we’d never done before," notes Scarlet Moon’s Jayson Napolitano. "Turning ‘Thriller’ into a jazzy lullaby felt like the perfect way to mark the milestone, while our arrangers dug into some genuinely great deep cuts this year, from Yoshi’s Island to Persona 5. We hope fans have as much fun discovering it as we did putting it together."
