Indie developer daimaGAME is excited to announce that the release date for the generational simulation-action game “CICADA” has been officially set for September 30, 2025 on Steam. 

Set in the nostalgic countryside of Japan, “CICADA” lets players live out the short yet intense life of a cicada. You will freely explore fields, forests, and lakes from a unique insect’s-eye view, challenge powerful enemies across the land, and entrust your strength to future generations through the game’s unique breeding system. 

Each defeat is not the end but a chance to pass on your abilities to the next generation. With every cycle, your cicadas grow stronger—until the moment comes when you can finally defeat the enemies that once seemed impossible.
