Publisher Wired Productions and acclaimed indie developer Mad Fellows are thrilled to announce that Aaero2: Black Razor Edition is out now, making its debut on PlayStation 5 and launching worldwide on Epic Games Store and GOG.
To celebrate the release, two new Music Packs also drop today for players on Xbox and PC, bringing the same fresh Black Razor Records tracks featured in Black Razor Edition to existing Aaero2 fans.
Black Razor Edition is the definitive cut of the cult rhythm-shooter, introducing all-new music from Wired’s in-house label Black Razor Records, including exclusive tracks and bespoke levels inspired by fan favourite Arcade Paradise. Fly across cyberpunk arcade cities and cosmic megastructures, unleash missiles at alien threats to the pulse of high-tempo EDM as the world falls around you. The expanded soundtrack amplifies Aaero’s trademark high-speed rail-shooter action and rhythm-driven precision, transforming your controller into an instrument and your gameplay into a full-blown performance.
Mad Fellows, the studio founded by former Guitar Hero and DJ Hero developers, created Aaero2: Black Razor Edition in partnership with renowned EDM label Monstercat and Wired’s Black Razor Records, pushing the series into its most ambitious and musically driven form yet.
Aaero2: Black Razor Edition upgrades the original with:
Exclusive tracks from Wired’s in-house label Black Razor Records: Featuring songs from hit game Arcade Paradise and a soundtrack produced by former The Prodigy drummer Kieron Pepper.
Songs by Lania Kea: Showcasing tracks from the rising star and member of the Black Razor Records family.
Monstercat catalogue: Chart-topping bangers from Monstercat, a leading independent electronic record label.
Extended Visuals: New environments and worlds inspired by Arcade Paradise, Black Razor Records and others, adding to the hypnotic flow state.
Aaero2: Black Razor Edition is available digitally on PlayStation 5, Epic Store and GOG from 16th of December 2025 for £15.99/ $19.99 with a 10% discount at launch. Xbox and Steam versions will be getting two separate Music Packs to celebrate the launch of Black Razor Edition, priced at $/€ 4.99 / £3.99.
