Wind Scene ~ Kingdom of Zeal
Kingdom of Zeal’s “Wind Scene” is a playful, guitar-driven progressive rock arrangement of the Chrono Trigger theme.
“Wind Scene”, from Chrono Trigger, takes its 8-bit roots and blends them with guitar-driven progressive rock performed by Kingdom of Zeal. The single is the first release from the band’s upcoming self-titled album.
Originally composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, “Wind Scene” accompanies the player while exploring 600 A.D. Kingdom of Zeal’s version opens with an 8-bit introduction before shifting into a full-band performance led by guitar and Andrew Lawrence’s piano.
Kingdom of Zeal features Andrew Lawrence on keys, Reuben Gingrich on drums, Tim Seisser on bass, and Cole Runge on guitar. “Wind Scene” was arranged and produced by Lawrence and recorded at Electrical Audio in Chicago, Illinois.
“Wind Scene” is the first single from Kingdom of Zeal’s upcoming self-titled Chrono Trigger album, releasing in January of 2027.
