Thinky Games announce Thinky Direct showcase for May with trailers from Akupara Games, Wholesome Games, and Draknek & Friends

Their first ever showcase dedicated to puzzle and problem-solving games will kick off the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase on May 29th, with updates and reveals.

Edinburgh, UK - 20th May, 2025 - Thinky Games, a community of thinky fans who want to promote amazing games, is proud to announce the first Thinky Direct: a brand-new, one hour-long digital showcase premiering on 29th May, 2025.

On the hunt for puzzly problem-solving games that make you think? Thinky Direct is here to expand your mind and get you scratching your head - packed with exclusive trailers, world premieres, and reveals from some of the most talented minds in the thinky games space, including Akupara Games, Wholesome Games Presents, and Draknek & Friends amongst many others.

“Some of our favorite games in recent years have been the thinkiest - Blue Prince, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, Golden Idol - so it's super exciting to be able to host this event and share some of the most exciting upcoming thinky games with you all,” said Joseph Mansfield of Thinky Games.

"Thinky Direct is our way of celebrating and supporting the thinky community - fans and developers alike. Our goal with this showcase is to spotlight games that might otherwise go overlooked,” added Rachel Watts, editor at Thinky Games.

And if that wasn’t exciting enough, The Thinky Direct is partnering with The Cerebral Puzzle Showcase! ​ A celebration of the most wonderful puzzle games will be available on Steam, organized by Draknek & Friends, The Cerebral Puzzle Showcase celebrates and showcases puzzle games of all sizes and scopes, for all audiences. ​ The Steam event will run from May 29th to June 5th.
