Can we be honest for a minute? Workdays can feel a little... repetitive.
What if you had a pint-sized pal quietly doing their own thing beside you on your screen? Kind of like a study buddy... someone who's aiming to be just as productive as you, so you both stay focused on the task at hand.
Enter Sulo the Sidekick... the digital companion you didn’t know you needed - Developed and published by Ruby Ursus.
Sulo is a digital companion that lives on your screen. He can be resized to be as visible or discreet as you need. He’s a sweet, soft pastel pink teddy bear who adds a subtle sense of comfort as you work.
He is more than just decoration, he is on his own adventure learning how to balance work and relaxation whilst figuring out careers and managing his time.
Sulo doesn't ask for much... just a job title, a few cosmetics, and maybe a break now and then so he doesn’t collapse from stress. (Honestly, same)
In the demo, you guide Sulo’s journey, help him pick a path, support his growth, and cheer him on from your desk. Think Tamagotchi meets cozy productivity vibes. Except Sulo doesn’t beep at you relentlessly or need food every five minutes. He is chill, low-maintenance, and genuinely delightful.
While the full game is still in development, you can already explore several careers, mini-games, and adorable cosmetics. When Sulo reaches full release, you can expect even more to be added. I haven't been distracted by Sulo — more supported and motivated to work hard and be able to look as cute as he does at the same time.

Sulo the Sidekick is a small, gentle reminder that not every part of your desktop needs to be optimized. Some of it can just be... delightful.
If your desktop could use a little more heart, personality, and maybe even a dash of existential support, Sulo the Sidekick is absolutely worth the click.
