Now available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 - Broken Things invites players back into the heart of Playtime Co., where they’ll find out just how far they’re willing to go to fight for their survival and put an end to The Prototype.
Today’s chapter release comes with a spine-chilling new trailer providing a sneak peek into what awaits players as they venture into Chapter 5 for the very first time. Watch the trailer here:
Backed by a massive and fiercely dedicated community, the Poppy Playtime series has surpassed 50 million players worldwide since the launch of its first chapter in 2021. What began as a modest indie horror project quickly evolved into a global cultural phenomenon, fueled by relentless fan theories and online speculation. Beyond the games, the franchise has expanded through major cross-IP collaborations, a feature film deal, and a fast-growing portfolio of licensed merchandise, firmly establishing Poppy Playtime as a powerhouse entertainment brand. With each new chapter in the mascot horror franchise, the series raises the stakes, delivering deeper lore, nerve-shattering jump scares, and unforgettable characters that continue to captivate players around the world.
“Chapter 5 represents a major step forward for Poppy Playtime. With every chapter, we’ve tried to deepen the world and raise the bar for ourselves creatively,” said Zach Belanger, CEO and Co-Founder, Mob Entertainment. “This one pushes further into greater atmospheric and emotional tension, and we’re excited for players to finally experience it firsthand.”
Seth Belanger, CCO and Co-Founder of Mob Entertainment added, “One of the most rewarding parts of building this series has been watching the community engage with it; the theories, the art, the creators who’ve acted as a driving force behind it all. Chapter 5 was created with that same spirit in mind. We want players to explore, question, and draw their own conclusions. Reaching this chapter is a milestone for our team, and it wouldn’t be possible without the fans who’ve grown alongside the story. We can’t wait to see how they react.”

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 - Broken Things is now available on PC via Steam and Epic Games. The console launch is planned for later in 2026.
