Overloop - Review - Xbox

Overloop is a puzzle platformer developed by Charge Games and published by Digerati. It was released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in March 2023.

In Overloop, players take on the role of an unnamed scientist who has accidentally created a cloning machine that can create an infinite number of clones. The player must use this machine to solve puzzles and progress through the game.

The game's puzzles are challenging but fair, and they require players to think outside the box. The cloning mechanic is also very well-implemented, and it adds a lot of depth to the gameplay. For example, players can use their clones to reach high places, solve environmental puzzles, or even fight enemies.

The controls in Overloop are simple and easy to learn, but they can be challenging to master. The player uses the left analog stick to move the character, the A button to jump, the B button to fire the cloning gun, and the X button to interact with objects. The player can also use the D-pad to switch between clones.

The cloning gun is the most important tool in Overloop. It can be used to create clones of the player character, which can then be used to solve puzzles or fight enemies. The clones can be created anywhere on the screen, and they will follow the player's movements.

Overloop is also a very visually appealing game. The graphics are crisp and colorful, and the level design is creative and varied. The game's soundtrack is also very good, and it helps to set the mood for the game.

Overall, Overloop is a great puzzle platformer that is sure to please fans of the genre. It is challenging, rewarding, and visually appealing. If you are looking for a new puzzle game to play, then I highly recommend Overloop.
