Gameye today announced a new Enterprise licence for its server management system. The Enterprise licence gives publishers and studios full access to Gameye’s source code, which took six years to develop. It lets developers bring their server orchestration in-house and embed it within their own custom platform or ecosystem.

“We’ve been building and improving our platform since 2017, managing our customers’ servers and making sure their games run smoothly,” explains Gameye’s CEO Sebastiaan Heijne. “As the industry evolves, developers want to build bigger and more engaging worlds and platforms. Gameye Enterprise makes this possible, without needing to spend years of dev time and budget working out solutions we’ve already solved.”

What is Gameye? Gameye is a server orchestration system for multiplayer games and multi-user online experiences. The platform lets developers automatically launch game sessions and balance the load across servers, choosing the best servers for each session quickly and efficiently. Gameye is also platform agnostic, which means it can benefit from a host of providers and isn’t locked to a single one. This cuts down the risks for developers, along with saving them time and money.

With a major partner already using Gameye Enterprise and others in negotiation, Gameye Enterprise helps publishers and game developers build their own digital distribution platform and provide large-scale support for Games-as-a-Service titles and massively multiplayer experiences.

Plus, with built-in security features and DDoS protection, Gameye’s battle-ready server technology automatically recognises attacks and prevents loss of service, keeping players in-game with minimal downtime. Gameye’s platform gives developers the opportunity to focus on building new online experiences with confidence and proven technology powering it.
