Solo developer Carl Treadway, in partnership with publishing platform indie.io, has released a playable demo for Conjurers, a strategic fusion of turn-based terrain tactics and deckbuilding where players summon creatures directly onto the battlefield using cards. Available now on Steam, the demo offers players their first opportunity to experience the game’s unique blend of tactical positioning, terrain strategy, and card-driven combat.

In Conjurers, rival summoners compete to claim the power of the Zodiac itself. Rather than commanding units traditionally, players construct decks that summon creatures onto a tactical battlefield, casting abilities and shaping the flow of combat with every card played. Terrain, positioning, and creature abilities all play a critical role, turning each move into a strategic decision as players battle to outmaneuver their opponents. Victories allow players to claim constellations and recruit new creatures into their decks, steadily expanding their strategic options. Different creature archetypes can be combined into powerful hybrid monsters, creating evolving synergies that encourage experimentation and new tactical approaches as the campaign progresses.
