The demo for American Cooking Simulator: Multiplayer drops you straight into the patriotic chaos of Joe’s Freedom Burgers, a place where culinary technique has been replaced by the sacred American art of firing guns at raw meat until it resembles food. It’s loud, it’s ridiculous, and it knows exactly what it’s doing.
The core hook is immediately clear: You and up to three friends must prepare burgers using pistols, shotguns, ARs, and whatever else Joe considers “FDA-adjacent.” The demo wastes no time showing how this works, you’re juggling orders, blasting patties to the correct doneness, and trying not to send half the kitchen flying with recoil.
It’s part cooking sim, part slapstick physics playground, part co-op meltdown generator. Think Overcooked, but if Gordon Ramsay had a Second Amendment arc.

The games presentation is intentionally over-the-top:
Big bold Americana
Cartoonish gunplay
Exaggerated customers
A narrator who sounds like he’s been marinating in barbecue sauce and freedom
It’s not subtle and it’s not trying to be.

The multiplayer demo focuses on tight, frantic shifts where communication matters, or at least yelling “WHO SHOT THE LETTUCE OFF THE COUNTER” matters. Every order has a timer, and customers will absolutely storm out if you’re too slow. Burnt food means no tips, and no tips means Joe is not happy.
The full game promises a cross‑country campaign through exaggerated versions of Texas, Florida, and beyond. The demo only hints at this, but the tone is already locked in: loud, absurd, and proudly unhinged. Expect region-themed dishes, escalating customer personalities, and unlockable patriotic cosmetics that lean into the satire.

The demo suggests a game built entirely around co-op chaos and comedic physics, not culinary depth. If you enjoy games where the fun comes from barely holding everything together, this is shaping up to be a strong entry in the “friendship-ruining co-op” genre.
If you want a serious cooking sim… well, this one lets you shoot a burger medium-rare.
Hopefully we can cover the game when it releases with a full review! Stay tuned!
